Educational Qualification

• Candidates must have passed a Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Arts, Commerce, Business Management, or Computer Applications from a recognized university. General and Other Backward Category candidates need a minimum of 55% aggregate marks, while Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe candidates need a minimum of 50% aggregate marks. And, candidates must have passed the Senior Grade Typewriting examination in both English and Kannada, along with Knowledge of operation of computers means possessing a certificate in computer basics issued by an Institute imparting Computer education.

Age Limit:-

• GM- 18 to 40 Years
• 2A,2B,3A,3B-18 to 43 Years
• Cat-1/Sc/St- 18 to 45

Pay Scale:-

• Data Entry Assistant:- ₹25,500 – ₹81,100 (Level-4)

Selection Process:-

• Listing of candidates for Typing Test::- Listing of candidates for Typing Test for recruitment to the post of Data Entry Assistant will be on the basis of the percentage of total marks secured in the qualifying examination in the order of merit, and if two or more candidates have secured equal percentage of total marks in the qualifying examination, the order of merit in respect of such candidates shall be fixed on the basis of their age. From among the candidates whose names are included in such list, as far as may be such number of candidates as is equal to ten times the number of vacancies notified, selected in the order of merit, will be called for the Typing Test.
• Typing Test and Interview:-

• Typing Test::- A passage containing 500 words will be dictated for a duration of 10 minutes and the candidates shall transcribe the dictated passage within 20 minutes in the Computer.
• Interview: The candidates will be called for interview in the order of merit from among the successful candidates in the Typing Test and as far as may be, such number of candidates as is equal to five times the number of vacancies notified in each respective category.
